The Chuck Palmer Memorial Missions Scholarship was established in honor of Chuck Palmer, a servant of the Lord with a heart for missions and witnessing to the lost in all situations in his life. He traveled all around the world serving with missions teams, started many off-site Bible studies in Elizabethtown, KY, and would want the work to continue.
Accordingly, this scholarship is designed to provide tuition assistance (not including housing, books, etc.) to residential (not on-line) students who are pursuing theological education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in the master's programs in the School of Theology or the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism and Ministry.
Scholarships shall be awarded annually and divided equally between the Fall and Spring semesters. All scholarships will be given on first-come, first-served basis. The scholarship will be in addition to the current scholarships and student aid programs of the Southern Seminary.
